The Pico de la Tiñosa is the highest in the province of Córdoba with its 1570 meters above sea level. It forms part of the Sierra de la Horconera in the Subbética Cordobesa.
The Sierras Subbéticas is a mountainous region located in central Andalusia, in the southeast of the province of Córdoba in Spain. It is part of the so-called Betic Cordillera, which also includes the Sierra Nevada further east.
