Nice climb up a very quiet road, which runs through a leafy forest, although from time to time the landscape opens up and you can admire the views of the valley and the Endara reservoir. The slope from Endara is 4.2 kilometers long, with an average gradient of 6.8%. Around kilometer 3 is when the hardest percentages are found, around 8 and 10%. If you go up from Lesaka the climb is twice as long, but it doesn't really start to get steep until the second kilometer. In any case, it is not a very steep climb until the last kilometer, where there are ramps of up to 11%.

Much of the climb is in shade. Due to the shops on the pass there is usually quite a lot of traffic on Sundays. Especially on the French side.

Different tracks, the one that is in the best condition for gravel is the one that goes from Osingo lepoa to the Lac du Xoldokogaina to reach Ibardin

It's fine for eating or drinking something or buying food, but it looks nicer from outside than it does on site. Very touristy. That tends to put off long-distance hikers.

On this border pass between France and Spain there are a number of shops and restaurants (including a large supermarket) due to tax advantages. A good opportunity for long-distance hikers to buy the groceries they still need or just to enjoy a snack and a cool drink. Apart from its practical use, however, not very attractive ;)

A very hard climb of 3.8km with an average of 11.1%. It has very hard ramps but it is a nice climb with a good road. From above you can see to one side the entire Txingudi bay.
