We leave the labyrinthine alleys of Alcalà del Jùcar and cycle along a good gravel road along the rio Júcar. Remains of old settlements in the limestone mountain that drops vertically. We pick figs and pomegranates that are ripe now at the end of September. Eagles fly in the upwinds. This is a route we can really recommend.

Jorquera is one of the most impressive municipalities in Castilla-La Mancha. Located on a rocky hill surrounded by the Júcar river. Here, just below, next to the dam on the river, some natural pools were formed, a mandatory stop to rest in the summer. Swimming area with natural shade and a place to have a picnic.

With its more than 121 km of route, the Turia – Cabriel Nature Trail manages to unite two of the most important rivers in the province of Valencia: the Turia and the Cabriel. This itinerary is protected by two natural parks: the Turia Natural Park and the Hoces del Cabriel Natural Park. This particular section begins (or ends) at the Vadocañas bridge over the Cabriel River. It is a gravel road in excellent condition with gentle slopes and surrounded by vegetation. Ideal for cycling or touring it by mtb or gravel bike.
