The route is ideal for families or a leisurely hike, as it is easy and can be completed in approximately two hours, not including stops. The trail begins at the parking lot of the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Cuadros and continues along the Cuadros River, beneath the impressive canopy formed by the oleanders.

The Parque Natural de Sierra Mágina is a spectacular natural area in the province of Jaén, between Jaén and Granada. The park covers approximately 19,900 hectares, lies at an altitude of between 700 and 2,167 metres above sea level and is known for its rugged limestone mountains, deep gorges and picturesque valleys.

Good views from the summit. There is no area to take shelter, so it must be taken into account in adverse weather conditions.

Beautiful cave that is at the foot of the valley where the Río Cuadras falls and that this cave is located at this point, together with the Ermita de Cuadras and the Molino de Batán.
