Definitely a highlight, but unfortunately, the castle was covered in scaffolding when I visited. The castle dates back to the Middle Ages but was later almost completely rebuilt.

Impressive medieval castle located in the municipality of Gatika. It is located on a hill surrounded by nature, which gives it a magical and mysterious atmosphere. Currently, the castle can be visited to learn about its history and enjoy the panoramic views from the top of its tower.

On this cape are the ruins of the Askorriaga fortress, built in the 18th century. Although few vestiges remain of this building, the views of the sea are still privileged.
