There are 15 fields near La Alberca that hide remains of cave paintings. Although, as its name makes us think, the predominant figure in this field is goats, other animals and even human figures are also painted.

With its peak at 1,414 meters above sea level, the views from Peña Huevo are worthy of a postcard. You can appreciate the beautiful landscape of the Batuecas and Sierra de Francia Natural Park in all its splendor and I recommend you go up here on a clear day with good visibility.

They are located in 15 fields around La Alberca called: Canchal de las Cabras Pintás, Canchal del Zarzalón, Canchal de la Umbría del Cristo, Canchal del Águila, Canchales de la Pizarra, Cueva del Cristo, Canchales de Mahoma, Umbría de la Cotorrina , Majadilla de las Torres, Canchal de los Acerones, Corral de Morcilla, Covacho del Pallón, Risco del Ciervo, Canchal de Villita and Canchal de las Torres. The remains found in the La Alberca shelters basically correspond to schematic art composed of bars, dots, petroglyphs and human figures.
