The Peñalén Ravine, also known as the King's Ravine, is a stunning natural spot located about 7 km from Funes, in the Ribera Alta region of Navarre. The viewpoint offers a vertical drop of approximately 392 m, where on clear days you can see the Bardenas Reales, Villafranca, Marcilla, and even the Pyrenees.

The main attraction of the route lies in the spectacular geomorphology of the massif, formed by conglomerates composed of a diverse range of blocks and boulders of varying sizes, known locally as "Las Roscas" (The Rings). The track that circles them is in excellent condition. Access to the base is possible. Be aware of any restrictions!

A refuge for numerous aquatic and steppe birds. This saline wetland also houses flora of great interest. The area is suitable for swimming and water activities.

On this path on the banks of the Río Ebro, there are good views of the river as a whole, a quiet space for walking and close to Alfaro. The area is a Sotos del Ebro Nature Reserve.

Good place to take a look at the Roscas crest.

The Picuezo and the Picueza are a set of geological formations very characteristic of the town or Autol, due to the sediments brought by the river that over the years have scratched the are and these towers have remained elevated above the rest.

It is an impressive corner of the Ribera Navarra. The ravine has a drop of 392 meters and is where the Arga and Aragón rivers meet. It is also known as the “Ravine of the King”, because the Navarrese King Sancho Garcés IV was assassinated here. There is a circular route of 13km signposted to cross the ravine by bike.

The Las Roscas massif is a unique conglomerate rock formation that has been carved by hundreds of years of erosion that today give us a very picturesque landscape of inlets and outlets in the rock walls.
