A lonely and windy mountain pass, surrounded by Scots pine forests and high meadows with panoramic views towards Cadí and Pedraforca. It is one of those points where silence weighs heavily and only the wind and the occasional bird can be heard. On a mountain bike, the climb is constant and with sections of loose stone that test technique and patience. Tip: keep a smooth and steady pace, and save your strength for the descent, which is fast and has tight bends that require concentration and a firm hand on the brakes.

It is a beautiful high mountain pass located in the pre-Pyrenees. It is a bearable and constant pass for its 2 slopes, the Sant Llorenç de Morunys slope being somewhat harder. There is tranquility and traffic is practically non-existent. The road is narrow and the asphalt is very rough and worn, which adds harshness to the port. I recommend the alternative of reaching the cross-country ski resort of La Vansa, about 5 km above Coll de Port. If you go up from Sant Llorenç de Morunys, just under 4 km to the top, there is a road that takes you directly to the Port del Compte station... after some hard ramps. The magnificent views from the viewpoint alone are worth going up here. Also, the road is spectacular.

Coll de Jou is a mountain pass located at an altitude of 1,461 meters in the heart of the Vall de Lord. A few meters away there is a viewpoint with impressive views of the mountains and a churrería.
