The Fuente del Chorrillo is one of the most representative “hot springs” of Campo de Calatrava. This name is used in the region to describe those water points (springs and wells) where the escape of CO2 bubbles of volcanic origin imitates the bubbling of water when boiling. This is what characterizes volcanism in this area, with an abundant presence of gases, with CO2 and water vapor being those that have played a relevant role in the eruptive dynamics.

Dam of the Geldres Mill, it is located about 200 meters from the Mill and it is a pleasure to listen to the fall of the water.

This small temple, built in 1995, serves as a sanctuary for the image of San Isidro, patron saint of farmers. It is located on top of the Cabezo del Rey Volcano, also known as "Cerro de San Isidro", and is surrounded by a recreational area and the Maares viewpoint.

Like other lagoons in the area, this one originated when magma came into contact with groundwater. The violent explosion generated a crater 500 meters in diameter and a maximum depth of 100 meters. The lagoon is surrounded by a forest of holm oaks, kermes oaks, mastics and cornicabras. The lagoon water also attracts birds such as black and white storks, imperial eagles, short-toed eagles, golden eagles and black vultures.
