Reasonably easy walk and great view from tower that contributes mid journey to being refreshed.

The Cotswold Way path is easy to lose at the crest of the hill at the entrance to the Broadway Tower property, as it takes a right angle turn to head toward Broadway along the stone wall and across the fields or, going the opposite direction, toward Chipping Campden down the rocky path.

My best tip to best experience Dover's Hill is by starting at the car park and walk along the Cotswold Way. A walk down into Chipping Campden is also worth a few additional miles.

Worth the bloody long hill climb from Broadway either I'm unfit or there are some really fit 80 year olds who put me to shame

Broadway Tower, at the intersection of a few well kept and popular footpaths, is free to look at, but a ticket is required to go inside. When you're sweaty from the run up the steep hill to get there, everyone will be glad you don't have a ticket!

Broadway Tower is a unique castle in a breathtaking location. At 1,024 feet (312 m) above sea level, it is the second highest point on the Cotswold escarpment and boasts spectacular views that stretch into 16 counties. The ‘Saxon’ tower was the brainchild of Capability Brown and designed by James Wyatt in 1794 in the form of a castle. It was built for Lady Coventry between 1798–99. You can buy tickets to visit the tower.

Cotswold Voluntary Wardens worked on the site at Lybrook Farm, planting 2,000 trees, including ash, oak and beech. The Broadway Trust paid for the trees with a legacy left by Willersey woman Lucy Nash and the wardens funded a fence and gates around the site to protect the trees.

Standing at 856 feet (261 m), Ebrington Hill is the highest point in Warwickshire. From the summit, you can see Birmingham’s skyline to the north and the grand ridge of the Malvern Hills to the west. The hill is topped with radio masts and pleasant crop fields.

Lovely open space for a walk. Was busy when I was there but still relaxing. Car park a little small so probably best to walk from Chipping Campden.

If using a road bike, the car park at the top is all gravel/stone and hard to cycle on. You'll need to walk to get to the tower which is about 200 metres away. Also worth getting up there by sunrise for a satisfying ride.

Dover's Hill is a 754 feet (230 m) hill in the Cotswolds area of central England. The hill is 1 mile (1.6 km) north-west of Chipping Campden in Gloucestershire. Dover's Hill and the surrounding land is the property of The National Trust. On the top of the hill is a trig point, and also a toposcope illustrating many of the landmarks that are visible from it. These include the Black Mountains in South Wales and the Long Mynd in Shropshire (nearly 60 miles / 97 km away). A monument of 1934 commemorates Robert Dover, founder of the Cotswold Olimpick Games, precursor of the modern Olympic Games.
