Thetford forest trails are all good for beginners being in one of the flattest counties of our country it’s v v flat it’s more cross country style riding than mountain biking.

The Beast is an awesome section where you'll definitely need a MTB.

From recent (painful) experience... if riding for the first time definitely take it steady (especially sections with rocks). The Lime Burner Trail in general is great fun, but it definitely has the potential to suddenly and unexpectedly bite you!

as of July 2023 this bomb hole has been neglected and completely overgrown with ferns and not rideable as you can't see the lines

opportunity to enjoy the tight turns and berms

Possibly the most technical section of the Lime Burner Trail with it's general descent, tight turns, natural obstables, and short but steep climbs around trees.  If riding for the first time, take it steady and keep your eyes open as there are some fast changes in direction with trees that can quickly become a problem.
