This is a long climb about 1.25 miles but take it steady and enjoy the view at the top.

White Hill offers a beautiful view of Cannon Heath Down, the Gallops and The Warren. This is a great place to spot birds, including linnets, yellowhammers, skylarks, buzzards and kestrels.

An example of a late bronze age to early iron age univallate hill fort. Some of the ramparts and ditches have been infilled but what remains is clear. You will have to ride up or push up a section of off road trail to view this properly.

This woodland has a fantastic name and, particularly in summer, has a fantastic, vibrant atmosphere too. Dense woodland floor plants turn the woodland bright green in late spring and long into summer, whilst the forest hides a tumulus and a veteran yew tree. The Three Castles Path traverses the eastern and northern edges of the plantation on a lovely, earthen track.

From this spot, you get a wonderful view over the rolling Hampshire countryside. A short distance to the west, you find Cottington Hill and Bowry Walls hill fort.
