A super fun descent off Cadbury Camp that's narrow singletrack. It's rough, but not overly technical, so some good skills are still required here. It's a shared trail, so be mindful of hikers and other trail users.

Great place for anyone who enjoys mountain biking. Novices are best sticking to the bridleways, as the trails are great but get very muddy with even the tiniest bit of rain. There is so much to take in, you can ride out to the trig point on Blackdown and then enjoy a whizz down Burrington Combe. It's always popular with walkers, dog walkers, other cyclists and horse riders, so keep an eye out, respect each other and say hello. There is sometimes a pheasant shoot, but this is always well-signposted and there are lots of friendly stewards to make sure you are safe.

Awesome MTB/TRAIL runs. Dicey in the wet and snow though. Great fun though.

Do I just park in the parking of ashton court and do the nova trail to experience switchback & swoops?

Great link path towards a few different areas, or just to get around the Bourton Combe area to explore the mtb trails there

pretty mucky and bouldery in winter. probably better on a mountain bike. also traversing from West to east is all uphill so was more of a hike and bike

This bridlepath is doable on a gravel bike or a MTB. On the 'great escape route' out to the Mendips!

One of the best trails in Ashton Court IMO

Can only repeat what Katherine said above. Great track, best down hill, needs suspension. Then good segment up by the golf course to get up on the hill again.

Top of the Christmas Trees trail

Awesome trail built and maintained by the wonderful folks at Pedal Progression and their band of merry volunteers (chapeau). If you'd like to give it a go, but don't have a MTB or gravel bike to ride, they also do really good hire bikes for a few hours or longer. This section is the end of the blue-rated Nova trail, which leads to the gatehouse closest to the Clifton Suspension Bridge. To get back to the start for a second lap, follow the road on your right and take the gravel road up to the woods.

A great part of the blue Nova trail to session thanks to the parallel fire road. It's barely downhill but you'll find loads of berms and bumps to hone in your skills on.

Brilliant off-road bridleway, best descended. Start at Millionaire's Lane and descend the length of a hill at an angle, so it's not too steep and pretty long. Gets more technical as you go down with a couple of drop offs, roots and rocks near the end. Best on a MTB.

Nice easy, well surfaced trails

Nice little track around Ashton Court. Did it on a e-mtb and it was highly enjoyable. Don't expect big jump or big drop. It's a fairly easy course, suitable for all levels.
