Unfortunately, we were there when everything had already bloomed. However, there are also beautiful statues in the park, so a visit outside of the flowering season is definitely worth it.

Nice place for a break while sightseeing

While visiting Hyde park and Kensington gardens (following the prinses Diana memorial walk) I had this lovely view on the Albert Memorial, coming from the Kensington gardens. Wonderful atmosphere in the heart of London.

Bring extra clothes if you are with kids. They are going to get wet here. it is allowed to wade in the fountain. Beautiful place to sit and relax. Be aware of the opening hours.
