From the end of the gravel path, a small path leads further to Gloppefossen.

Crossing this small gorge on the Lardalstigen is definitely worthwhile and not particularly dangerous. However, you should be careful when descending because of the wetness and people with claustrophobia should avoid this detour altogether.

First follow the second path/junction to the summit, which is less steep and not so slippery when it rains.

A 7 km long gravel and narrow path leads to Ravnejuv (Raven Gorge). It's worth the detour if you're in the mood for some great nature (a 350-metre drop above the Tokkeåi River) and a little experiment. It is said that banknotes are dropped into the gorge for fun and that they are carried back up by the thermals. However, we have not tried that.

As long as there is still snow, rubber boots are extremely recommended. The water is damn cold. 🙈
