In the forests south of Aarschot you will find a mix of challenging climbs and exciting descents. The steep climbs require stamina, while the descents with sharp bends and root parties provide the necessary technical challenge.

Magnificent open part, but the western access is via a very muddy portion in winter, very slippery. Perfect for mountain biking (according to other comments), a bit of a headache for beginners in gravel (I learned that the hard way..!). Accustomed to road cycling, going through this type of path is always a magical moment.

Fantastic track, overall it's flat but twisty and fun. Unfortunately many walkers come here and act like they own the place. From time to time there is a logging activity in the area as well and it turns the track into a mud bath!
