A great area for MTB riding. The forests offer a mix of technical, challenging trails with roots, muddy sections and steep slopes, and wider, more accessible trails suitable for less experienced mountain bikers.

The Kesterheide is a top destination for MTB'ers, with challenging trails through forest and heath. The terrain offers a mix of technical sections, steep climbs and fast descents. The rugged, untouched nature makes it a perfect place for an adventurous ride.

I went there today, unfortunately in the wrong direction and above all there was a mountain biker who was busy building a nice little jump in the middle of the single. I'll go there next time to try it! The main single goes down quite steeply along a ridge so it promises to be nice. There are also other small typical mountain bike tracks that are starting to appear on this ridge.

In my opinion impossible to do uphill

A postcard landscape: superb. Be careful, however, not to be surprised by the speed on the first 90 degree turn to the left because the path is sloping and made of gravel. Some must have ended up in the field below ... or in the barbed wire fence.

Very nice descent with a large run-out strip, the slope to it is dangerous, be sure to take the right slope to the right of the pine tree, the left one is too sloping and slippery, danger of falling down.

Nice narrow piece with short curves.

I went back there... But running this time, not easy to climb 🤣 I met 3 mountain bikers there... 🤘👍
