The Forest of Peace in Bastogne, which was created on the 50th anniversary of the Battle of the Ardennes, contains 4,000 trees. The trees are dedicated to the American veterans who fought in the Ardennes, to the Belgian fighters and to the military and civilian victims of the winter 1944-1945. It was an emotional moment when many veterans saw each other again in 1994 after all that time. Every veteran could choose from various tree species and each tree was given its own name. The trees are planted in such a way that the UNICEF emblem, the mother and child, can be seen from the air.

The Fâzône pond is a natural lake which is part of the Site of Great Biological Interest (SGIB). It has a rich biodiversity, particularly for birds and dragonflies. It is home to species such as the Little Grebe, the European Bittern, the Black-necked Grebe and the Beaver. It is a place where you can enjoy the view of water, reeds, meadows and alder swamp forest.
