Natural beach with great sea

A beautiful nature reserve, with a fairly well-packed sandy bottom. Probably best avoided during rainy periods.

A unique location; the reserve is crossed by a very dusty cycle path (perfect for gravel), surrounded by vegetation, and with little to no view of the sea except at this point, where the semi-ruined house contributes to the picturesque panorama. Beware of illegal e-bikes, which use this road as an alternative to the roads open to traffic at breakneck speeds.

Beach area delimited for the conservation of the Kentish Plover, a wading bird that nests along this stretch of coast, and the Sea Lily.

We are in the Borsacchio Reserve, between the mouth of the Tordino River and the mouth of the Borsacchio Torrent, between the Adriatic Sea and the hills of Cologna Paese and Montepagano, representing one of the stretches of the Abruzzo coast that retains characteristics of environmental and landscape integrity.
