Spartan with iron bunk beds and shower, fortunately with the new management no longer coin operated. The food is really good. The phone doesn't work except in a remote corner.

Monte Faudo (1151 m) is a beautiful dome-shaped mountain that rises a short distance from the sea, overlooking the Ligurian Riviera.

Monte Faudo is easily doable both uphill and downhill with a gravel bike. I recommend going up from Dolcedo, or Civezza, arriving in both cases at S. Brigida, because it is less steep. The descent from the side of Monte Follia towards the Taggia valley is less clean, but this too is done with a gravel.

Monte Faudo can only be reached by mountain bike and advanced riding technique, it was a bit difficult with a gravel bike, but doable.
