The spring flows from Mount Peralba and its fresh, clear water is collected in a source of stones and rocks, immersed in nature, on which a monument stands out bearing the inscription "Here the Piave is born", it is easily reachable from Sappada with the paved road or from Val Visdende with a fairly challenging path (S1/S2) with numerous hairpin bends
