One of the most beautiful sacred places in the Marche. An abbey nestled in the rocks near the Grotta d'Eustachio. The mastery of sculpting the stone is still clearly visible. How much hidden beauty! Absolutely to be restored and preserved. But also in its current state to be admired and with the imagination to be transported to the times of its glory.

Today (again) summit in fog, later heavy rain, but ascent and descent wonderful forest paths, easy to walk - today just NOTHING to see....Very nice (short) round

The marshes are a marvel of nature, offering an ideal natural route for trekking or relaxing walks with breathtaking views of the Marche region. On clear days, you can also admire the sea to the east and the mountains to the south up to the Majella, while to the north they extend up to the Fumaiolo and to the west to Amiata.

The Buca del Terremoto, created by the 1799 earthquake between Monte di Colleluce and Monte San Pacifico, is an enormous almost circular chasm, about 50 meters wide and 20 meters deep, presumably caused by the collapse of an underground cave. It is an imposing and truly unique place. It is possible to go all the way down, although it can be a bit dangerous.

This is a beautiful viewpoint between Elcito and Confaito. The trek is not too demanding even if going up from Elcito there are some steep slopes.
