I followed the entire route along the SP1, but there are several trails in the woods that branch off from the dirt road and then rejoin. The highest point is at the end of the Santadi area, then you descend again to the picnic area. I recommend following the SP1 for the uphill sections and using the trails to descend the mountains.

The gorge is located southeast of the town of Bidda Mores, on the border between the municipalities of Capoterra and Sarroch. The canyon lies at approximately 180-200 meters above sea level and is flanked by two vertical quartzite walls over 100 meters high. At its narrowest point the gorge is only about 1m wide. In spring, aqua shoes are an advantage when crossing the gorge. Various hiking trails lead through the WWF oasis. The nature and the views of the mountains are fantastically beautiful.
