The Campari delle Piastre fountain is one of the thirty fountains designed by Giuseppe Gronchi, a Florentine sculptor, to promote the Campari aperitif company. Unfortunately, only three of these rationalist fountains remain, the other two are located in Brunate and Chiusi della Verna. These fountains represent one of the first examples of sponsorship to promote a brand without explicitly advertising the product.
