This is a famous descent for all mountain bike lovers who live in this area of Franciacorta. For several years it was the main descent of the famous Gran Fondo Gimondi, a race named after the famous local cyclist Felice Gimondi. The descent is wonderful and very fast, perfect for cross country bikes, fun albeit dangerous even when it's humid.

The descent is spectacular and offers a fast experience, it is ideal for cross country bikes. It's a fun route, but you need to be careful, especially when it's wet.

From my point of view, a very tough trail and well above the S2 rating given here - which I usually have no problem with. The beginning part in particular is challenging due to some very steep passages and even bypasses and sliding descents are not without their problems. Attention: Videos of the trail do not even begin to convey the steepness. Unfortunately, the route and markings were not always obvious to me - there are many alternative routes and junctions. Trail at the beginning of September 23 was dry but partly not in good condition (deep gullies, hills, slightly overgrown).

If you do it downhill with the gravel you have to pay close attention but if you have a handle just slide it and fun is guaranteed.
