Monument to Enrico Toti: despite losing his left leg in a 1908 train accident, he managed to enlist in the Bersaglieri Cyclists, dying in 1916 with the heroic act of throwing his crutch at the enemy. Few know that he was a cycling tourist before the time of his enlistment; despite his amputation, before enlisting, he undertook incredible bicycle journeys, crossing half of Europe (as far as Lapland) and later North Africa.

The recovered trench at Quota 85, also called "Enrico Toti" in honor of the famous Italian volunteer who lost his life in this place during the Sixth Battle of the Isonzo, is characterized by a deep trench in rock reinforced by concrete parapets made by departments Italians in 1916 on a previous excavation by the Austro-Hungarian army. At the nearby 85 m. altitude it is also possible to visit a monumental area characterized by an avenue with various memorial stones dedicated to the various departments that operated in these areas as well as the monument to Bersagliere Enrico Toti.

The Isonzo River is an important river in Central Europe which flows from the Julian Alps through Slovenia and Italy, flowing into the Gulf of Trieste into the Adriatic Sea. The Isonzo is known for its scenic beauty and the ecological importance of its waters and habitats. It is also famous for its historical role during the First World War, having been the scene of numerous battles.
