Is it also possible with gravel? Can October be considered as a period to do it?

Pass at an altitude of 1,100 meters on the provincial road that leads from Celano to Forme. Here there is a fountain with very fresh water, a picnic table and a panoramic point towards the Fucino plain on one side and the Cafornia and Velino mountains on the other.

Excellent stopping point for drinking water after walking through the beech forest along the CAI 14A path. Drinking trough made according to typical local standards. It is located in the area of a beautiful plateau.

Done many times, as well as with cross-country skis, also with Mtb. Enchanting scenery both in summer and in winter as someone has already commented. Did it again just yesterday in Mtb, and we'll do it again, and again 🚴🏻♀️😎✌🏾

"The spring is pretty good, the path that takes you deserves it, recommended to go for a picnic in the shade of the nearby forest. The water from the spring is good and freezing!"

"The patch floors are one of the most enchanting scenarios that you can visit during the summer but also in winter. A completely uncontaminated place, a boundless plateau where you can immerse yourself in nature. Marvelous"

It is one of the most evocative and easily accessible places. The spring water is fresh and flows abundantly almost all year round.

Lovely gorge! We were here at oktober with dry water. There wasn't any water in the river but we had a lovely walk for two hours

7월 19, 2018, Fonte degli Innamorati Waterfall
Falls located in the Gole di Celano. The Gole di Celano (Celano's gorges) are located within the Regional Natural Park of Sirente - Velino. Digged for more than 4 kilometers from the river La Foce, they separate Mount Sirente and Mount Tino (also called Serra di Celano), representing an imposing erosion of the central Apennines in Italy. Its rocky walls measure, in the deepest area, almost 200 meters high. The average width of the gorge is about 5-6 meters, with narrow passages of 3 meters. The gorges are passable and can be visited by hikers either uphill coming from Celano or down from Ovindoli starting from the high Valle d'Arano.
