You walk right next to the Thaya, one small slip and you inevitably end up in the Thaya. Not recommended in cold weather, in my opinion too dangerous in sub-zero temperatures and snow

For me, this natural section of the Thayatal Trail is the most beautiful trail in the national park. Sure-footedness and sturdy shoes are advisable. The reward is a fantastic nature experience with the opportunity to observe the national park's "Big Five". The constantly changing light moods are enchanting!

A wonderful place for a break, a very informative information board and of course a fantastic view - the steep climb is definitely worth it!!!
