I highly recommend this hike. We enjoyed the final climb the most. We were there with our dog, and it was perfect for him, too.

Beautiful views and wonderful peace and quiet. The paths down to the lake and back again are quite difficult. Surefootedness and good footwear are required.

Great view of Lake Vran and the sea behind it. There is also a hut here with cool drinks and good food.

€5 is charged here and the ticket is supposedly checked around the lake. I bought one, drove around the lake and wasn't checked anywhere. Everyone who met me didn't have a ticket at all and told me that there wasn't a ticket office anywhere near the entrance. So very strange, apparently only here at this point. Some didn't stop but just kept going and saved themselves the "strange ticket purchase"...
