Beautiful beach

I recommend avoiding the trail leading to Poggio Stefano to avoid the risk of being reported. The trail lies within a protected area, and accessing it without authorization from the National Park is considered a criminal offense under the Presidential Decree of May 17, 1996. The same applies to anyone hiking the trail to Cala Coticcio without an authorized guide.

The bay was a dream, the bike path there was breakneck! We had to push and carry the bike more than we could ride, and definitely NO ONE has ever visited the three adjacent bays by bike (except us 😂😂). Please don't try this.

Bassa Trinita Beach / Low Trinity Among the wonders of the Maddalena National Park, in the extreme north-east of Sardinia, is a beautiful beach protected by a promontory and a small church that overlooks the archipelago from the main island In the northernmost stretch of the coastal road that runs along the entire perimeter of the island of La Maddalena, there is the suggestive beach of Bassa Trinità. It is guarded between a 128-meter-high rocky promontory, once used as a military battery, and small granite coves that are connected to each other. The name derives from an ancient church called "Della Trinità", built immediately after the occupation of the island (1767), located in the center of a small settlement once inhabited by Corsicans. Cala Serena is worth a hike. A rocky path with beautiful views leads from Cala Garibaldi to the bay. Thanks to the somewhat difficult access, the bay is only sparsely visited. Particularly striking is the wetland with a lake and lush vegetation directly behind the beach. The bay is extremely beautiful for swimming: no rocks, but a wonderful fine sandy bottom with incredibly clear water that shines turquoise in the sun. Small silver fish with a distinctive black spot on the base of their tails populate the underwater world. The bay is shallow and deeply indented, making it ideal for children.

A great beach bar on a fantastic panoramic beach!!! Ska music and unexpectedly reasonable prices and a well-organized team behind it made it one of my vacation highlights in 2024!!! Need to come back there!

Great beach in the dunes with fine white sand. The beach bar is also cheap. Cappuccino for 2 euros and espresso for 1 euro. Where else can you get that?
