Beautiful returned to the side of the Grand Canyon of Cilento

I'd say it's one of the most beautiful roads in Italy. The descent towards Teggiano is breathtaking.

The Corticato saddle is one of the most spectacular passes in Cilento. The climb from Sacco is long and pleasant, the road has literally been carved into the rock. The saddle is wide and acts as a watershed between Cilento and Vallo di Diano. In June it is tinged with yellow with the fragrant brooms.

The Passo della Beta is a pass immersed in the beech wood of Monte Gelbison, located at about 1300 meters above sea level below the summit. From here begins the last stretch of climb that leads to the top, or it can also be reached from other paths that start from Cannalonga or Rofrano.

The Valico San Belardino is a crossroads of various paths where the remains of the apse of the homonymous chapel are found. Going up from the village of Pisciotta, from here you can continue towards Rodio or towards the peak of Castelluccio.

The climb to the Alburni pass is long and with challenging slopes, but the road is spectacular and the effort is amply rewarded. After the hairpin bends, you cross one of the most beautiful beech woods in the Cilento Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park.
