We made it (uphill)!!! We got off the e-bike and pushed it. It was very difficult despite the starting aid. But we conquered the hill 😅

The burial mound has changed significantly in the last three years. There is now a wooden fence to protect the mound and a small path to walk around it. An information panel has also been installed, where visitors can access interesting information in both High German and Low German via a QR code.

We managed it (downhill) with a normal e-bike but it was quite difficult.

There have been written records of buzzing holes, also known as "headache holes", since the 17th century. These are approx. 50-60cm deep holes that were hewn into a rock face. The buzzing holes are used for healing purposes, to relieve muscle and nerve cramps. This happens through the vibration that occurs when you put your head in one of the holes, start to hum and try to tune the hum so that it turns into an inner and outer roar, which is felt as a beneficial vibration for the body. Plastic caps are used for this purpose in today's medicine.

Goes down pretty steep. Mountain bikes are definitely the best choice. Difficult with trekking bikes. City bikes don't stand a chance.
