It is a wonderful MTB area with difficulty levels from easy to challenging. It is not overcrowded and you can look down on the Schwartau from above (approx. 70m). I found that particularly attractive. In the places where the river meanders (makes bends) wonderful meadows have emerged. It looks very lovely. And from the bridges you can watch how the river is being renaturalized with stones, dead wood and the connection of old side channels. For me it is a wonderful mixture of action and relaxation! You definitely have to try it out!

Ok, I'm probably the warm showerer here - but I had an "issue" with the Förster-Otto-Trail. It's going up a lot and has a few roots across the way. It is really easier to keep going when running than with the MTB ;-)

It's really good to ride (and on the days when I'm not cycling, I go with my personal trainer) - you just have to keep your eyes open so you don't go over or into the two or three bumps that are on the way!! Fun sink on an overall nice trail. To drive in both directions. If you take the momentum with you, you can easily get back up on the other side. Another path leads through the bottom of the depression – to the Wilhelmsquelle. So watch out for crossing traffic! In addition to the technical driving highlight, you can also get a nice view of this spring from the beginning in the south. The preferred direction of travel is also from south to north, so there is a small rounded step for dropping. Unfortunately, it's pretty much eroded now...
