The most famous oaks in Rogalin are “Rus”, “Czech” and “Lech”. They grow in the palace park, just a few minutes walk from the Raczyński Palace. The age of the oaks in Rogalin is estimated at 480-600 years, which makes them one of the oldest trees in Poland.

The "Krajkowo" nature reserve was established in 1958 to protect the landscape of riparian forests and oxbow lakes of the Warta River and to protect birds. Frequent flooding of the Reserve with flood waters favors the creation of riparian forest. More than 50% of the reserve's forest cover consists of pedunculate oak, which occurs individually in the form of large, 200-300-year-old trees. The reserve is a bird sanctuary, numerous predatory species come to feed. Some areas of the reserve are wildlife refuges and unauthorized persons are prohibited from traveling within the reserve.
