Unfortunately, the summit climb was difficult at the end of May due to the snow-covered Kaiseregg Pass. In spring, with persistent snow, it's only recommended for experienced and/or well-equipped hikers. Crampons and poles were a must for me!

La Vounetse is a peak in the Swiss Alps, near the town of Charmey, in the canton of Fribourg. It offers stunning views of the Gruyère region and the surrounding mountains, as well as a variety of trails for different levels of difficulty. One of the most popular trails is the Panorama de la Vounetse loop, which leaves from the Charmey gondola station and takes you to the top of the Vounetse and back in about an hour.
