Fantastic driveway on a really fantastic pass. Worth it!

The Poklon connects the Adriatic coast around Opatija with the Istrian hinterland. At the same time it separates the small mountains Ćićarija and Učka, both northwestern appendages of the Dinaric Mountains. From Vranja the road climbs to the next with up to 21% in places. There are hardly any places where you can relax a little. At a height of 1000 m you reach a knoll and thus the highest point of the pass road.

Wonderful pass road. Quite hot in summer, but a great view is worth it if you drive up the last cul-de-sac.

Majestic mountain that can cost you a lot of grains. Don't forget: you start from sea level :)

Great driveway with a crisp middle section. Was there a few days ago and went up a few times. Have even started at night to experience the sunrise up there. If you have the opportunity, then do !!!! As always, you will be rewarded for the effort 👍🏻

The Poklon is a rather unspectacular pass with a height of 950m. From Vranja at the beginning it has some hard ramps and then it is flatter and good to drive. A little further from the pass there is a rest stop. From the pass you should definitely drive the dead-end road to Vojak. You should not miss the highest mountain of Istria.
