Unfortunately, the cave was already sold out today, so we couldn't visit this highlight. My would be to buy the tickets in advance. Matthew

You can reach Macoch from two sides, go up to the parking lot and walk about 1 km, or go down to the parking lot, walk about 2 km and take the cable car up. The second option is a bigger experience, we didn't wait in line anywhere, the walk to the cable car was pleasant and you got moving. I recommend visiting both viewpoints, from the bottom you can see the very bottom of Macocha. There are fewer people during the week.

Punkva Cave: many stalactites in the most wondrous shapes, plus a boat trip on an underground river - fascinating. Be sure to book tickets in advance in summer. Otherwise you run the risk of not getting in.

First you hike through a stalactite cave, then you have an overwhelming view of a 150m high gorge before you are taken by boat through another cave. Now and then you can get out and marvel at side corridors. Belongs to the absolute top list of caves (gorges) accessible to tourists
