A truly fantastic mountain bike touring destination with various downhill options. For the approach/ascent, I recommend turning right halfway between the Furkelhütte and the Stilfser Alm (approximately at the level of the Tradakopf). There are still some carrying sections, but you'll save about 200 meters of elevation gain compared to the Stilfser Alm, and the path is less steep.

If you are hiking south or southwest from the Ofen Pass, Il Jalet is a must! The climbs are short, it's a little steeper from the south than from the north, so it can be a bit slippery when wet. At the top there is a beautiful view to enjoy.
