The trail is easygoing, there are a few root passages and as is usual in the Jura there are also a few stones but it is a rather flowing trail!

Currently partially closed because the trail is being massively expanded 🥳 https://www.trailnet-bern.ch/2023/08/15/baustart-baerenried-trail/ Opening October 14, 2023 The trail starting point is at Schwanden/Geneva and it leads towards Münchenbuchsee/Burgdorf. This is for information purposes. There are now information boards from Trailnet on site

Very nice trail, but quite narrow. Runs on a very steep slope. That's why it's better to push the bike in some places when it's wet 😅

The Bärenried Trail is currently (05/2023) still in its infancy, although a lot of hard work and sweat has certainly gone into the existing trail. After all, the trail has already been legalized and it has a few treats to offer. What I was still missing for orientation was clear signage showing where the start and end are. At the beginning there are a lot of rough roots, further down it gets quite steep. The last 10 meters on the road are dangerous.
