A waterfall that is always spectacular.

Culminating at an altitude of 2,321 metres, it marks, with the nearby Col de Balme, the bottom of the Chamonix valley to the southwest and rises above Vallorcine to the northwest. Boundary marker no. 3 marks the border which here forms a right angle between the Col de Balme to the southeast and the Plan des Reines to the southwest. The sources of the Arve are located on the sunny side of the mountain, just below the summit. On its shady side is Lake Catogne.

Cascade de Pissevache, also known as Cascade de Salanfe, is an impressive waterfall located between Martigny and Saint-Maurice in the canton of Valais. The Cascade de Pissevache has a height of 116 meters and is fed by the water of the Salanfe river. This majestic waterfall is considered one of the most beautiful sights in the country.

The path through the gorge is short but spectacular.

Wasserfall by Vernayaz is actually called: La Pissevache

This gravel path, once traveled by holiday pioneer Thomas Cook, served as a route for stagecoaches ascending this beautiful but remarkably steep valley. Although the era of stagecoaches has waned, enthusiasts now choose to travel this extraordinary route on foot or by bike. The trail offers a challenging but rewarding climb or an exhilarating descent, and best of all, it's suitable for gravel or XC biking, making it an ideal climb for all types of riders.

A large grassy peak, at the top of the Le Tour ski area. This peak probably offers one of the best views of Mont Blanc in the valley, as well as the Aiguille Vert, the Aiguille Rouge, the Glacier du Tour and, on top of that, all the way to Switzerland! To visit in good weather, that's for sure.
