In April and May, the Tulip Festival takes place in the Parc de l'Indépendance in Morges. Many beautiful beds with diverse varieties of tulips are planted there. Truly worth a visit and a short trip!

Nice little park with a great view over the lake. Directly on the water a narrow path leads to the east.

Beer garden during the summer months (mid June->mid Sept).

Two static Swarowski telescopes are available at no charge to observe the birdlife.

Now that the house of the bird island is built, you also have information signs about birds and excellent Swarovski spotting scopes installed there and free to use (look at the new pictures)

Unique in Switzerland, the Vallon de l'Aubonne Arboretum extends over an area of around 120 ha within an agricultural and forestry perimeter of around 200 ha. It has nearly 4,000 woody plants. The Arboretum pursues a scientific, educational and recreational objective: to make trees known and appreciated. Its collections bring together 3,000 species and varieties of trees and shrubs from all temperate zones of the earth. They are grouped by species and divided into groves highlighting shapes and colors according to their climatic and edaphic requirements, while taking into account their integration into the natural environment. This park is beautiful in all seasons but in early summer this is the park to visit to see the tulips.
