Wellenberg Castle in Frauenfeld - experience and enjoyment in the unique historical, natural surroundings. Marriage in a historical setting takes on a very special meaning. In front of the majestic castle facade, under the shady chestnut trees, or in the historic and rustic rooms, an aperitif becomes an impressive experience. The guided tour through the house museum and through the vaulted cellar in the castle, accompanied by detailed explanations, brings the past 800 years to life. The private forest park with its natural fountain and three waterfalls can also be visited, provided you have good shoes. The armory of the Peter Kunz Firearms Foundation houses firearms with originals and replicas from 1200 to 1900. This collection can be described as unique to show the historical and technical development of firearms. Early registration is required for the above offer! Very easy to walk on, varied and great path with many dry and firm footholds and bridges

This spot is a wonderful photo opportunity. The lake, the island, the jetty, maybe a few swans and a blue sky with a few white clouds. As if Mother Nature created a photo backdrop here on purpose.

Muddy yes, but fantastically beautiful! The path leads through a real small jungle.
