When the weather is nice, you have a wonderful view of the Walensee region and the Toggenburg. But even when the weather is not so good, the climb is worth it, as there is often a very special atmosphere.

Beautiful lake with a great panorama. Very algae-covered though. It's great for hiking around, and definitely nice for children too.

Not only is the Speer the king of the foothills of the Alps, it is also Europe's highest Nagelfluhberg. And a scenic mountain like in a picture book.
