The Turrian Bridge is the oldest suspension bridge in French-speaking Switzerland. It was built in 1883 and crosses the Sarine. It is a historical and cultural monument which offers a dizzying view of the forest, the waterfall and the gorges. The bridge is accessible on foot from the village of Château-d'Oex, which is also a popular destination for hot air balloon flights.
