A scenic waterfall that can be driven behind.

The boardwalk was built in 1999 from "Lothar Holz" (a local timber company) and is highly recommended. It leads through a beautiful forest, allowing you to fully enjoy nature and its sounds, relax, and recharge. There are also benches along the way. We visited the boardwalk for the first time this January, when it was covered in snow. Entering the circular path is at your own risk, but with a bit of caution, it's quite manageable even in winter. We will certainly visit it again at other times of the year.

The rocks have been washed out over thousands of years. Very impressive.

Beautiful winter mood

Hardly any other region in Switzerland has as many natural treasures as the UNESCO Entlebuch Biosphere. Here you will find the largest and most numerous moorlands in Switzerland, impressive karst areas and a flora and fauna of (inter)national importance. It is no wonder that the Entlebuch was designated as Switzerland's first biosphere reserve by UNESCO 20 years ago. Since then, the UNESCO Entlebuch Biosphere has committed itself to truly sustainable action in all areas, among other things it is committed to gentle tourism with offers that are compatible with nature and the climate.

Pretty swamp and moorland area. Small by Swiss standards, but easily accessible.
