The Schwarzsee, also known as Lac Noir, is idyllically situated in the canton of Fribourg (Sense district) and is part of the Gantrisch Nature Park. With its deep, dark water and surrounding peaks such as Kaiseregg (2185 m), Schafberg, and Spitzfluh, the lake offers a fascinating panorama. 🌅 Highlights & Activities Surroundings & Nature: The moorland and alpine pastures surrounding the lake are rich in species – with cotton grass, reeds, coots, and dragonflies – ideal for walks and nature observation. Accessible for hikes or conveniently by chairlift to Riggisalp – with alpine huts and restaurants. Especially when the lake is calm and not a breath of wind ruffles the surface, La de Montsavens exudes an inner calm. At low tide, characteristic keel banks form on its banks, inviting you to linger.

The island of Ogoz is a small island located on Lake Gruyère, in Switzerland. You can access the island by boat or on foot, depending on the water level. Once there, you can explore the ruins of two medieval castles and a chapel, and admire views of the surrounding mountains and forests. Ogoz Island is a great place to experience Swiss culture and nature while getting some exercise.

At the artificial lake of Montsalvens, in the Gruyère region of Switzerland, on the 9 km loop, you will encounter a 60 meter long suspension bridge which will enhance your run and offer you a breathtaking view of the lake.
