A worthy ascent for the stunning views of the Gantrisch and the Thun lake. There are restaurants up here for a good refuel, but it does get busy in high summer.

One of the most beautiful views, after a somewhat steep climb from Bern :) Don't give up, it's worth it.

a detour to the Chutzen is always worthwhile, has a good restaurant with a view of the entire chain of the Alps

Do not recommend this tour on weekends. Too much traffic. Mainly motorbikes. Life-threatening for me
