Barbecue area with a beautiful view. A few meters further up, the officially highest point in the canton of Baselland (1169 m). For an even better panorama, be sure to visit the Chellenchöpfli (with panorama boards)

Wild, narrow and green, the Wolfsschlucht in the Thal Nature Park in the Solothurn Jura is an adventure for the whole family. Rock walls up to 100 meters high, some of them overhanging, line the gorge. Even in summer it is pleasantly cool and shady. The path leads past caves and washouts. There are several fire pits where you can fortify yourself with a picnic. The entrance is directly at the Herbetswil Wolfsschlucht bus stop. Parking is available in the village center of Herbetswil.

Beautiful area called "Emmenspitz", ideal for a break or even a barbecue. This is where the Emme flows into the Aare. Nice places to sit on the bank, a barbecue area and a few trees that provide shade invite you to take a nice break.

Beautiful tightrope walks are very good, but sure-footedness is required. This tour can actually be done all year round, be careful when there is snow it can also be dangerous, I would recommend doing this in the warm months as it is also safer.

An absolutely fantastic view of the landscape. There are at least two ways to the highest point of Basel Land - we probably chose the more difficult way :). The descent was then relatively short. Good shoes are an advantage.

The highest point of BL but a little further down, on the Chellenchöpfli, the view is a lot better. ;-)

The Burgäschisee, sometimes also simply Aeschisee, lies on the canton border of the cantons of Bern and Solothurn, with around two thirds on the Solothurn canton area. The lake is located in the municipalities of Aeschi (SO) and Seeberg (BE) at an altitude of 465 meters above sea level. The lake is fed by the Füürstein Canal, while the Seebach flows out. The natural lake is almost 700m long and 500m wide and is surrounded by a forest and reeds. The lake is located in a nature reserve.
