In January 2022, the path (coming from Beimoorweg) was impassable from halfway due to mud - it is now also used by horse riders. At a small mini pond it then became impossible to continue the tour. A small stream had dammed up there - it was impossible to pass through here - mud without end and in places up to 20 cm deep. The stream was almost 4 meters wide - so I either had to turn back or go cross-country to the main path. I had chosen the latter... Update: Dry and easy to ride in summer (September 2023)!

The highest elevation in the Ahrensburg area is the 63.3 meter high Bocksberg on the Bredenbeker Teich. Several great MTB trails lead there. Unfortunately, there are no nice views from here because everything around has grown over, but as the highest hill in the area it is still a worthwhile goal. This reminds me of this well-known saying: Why do you drive up a mountain? Because it's there.😉 The "summit" is hardly recognizable as such, but it is marked by a stone with a cross and can be identified by it.

For me, this is the most beautiful trail in the Tangstedter Forest. Narrow curve, narrow route with many, many roots. If it is damp or bassinet it needs some skill, otherwise suitable for anyone who wants to rush over roots.
