You can easily get to Glossos, a Shell gas station, by public bus. From there, walk along the road until you reach the Mamma Mia church. On the way back, keep in mind that it's hotter and the walk is more uphill. Please bring plenty of water.

About 200 steps lead up to the chapel of Ágios Ioánnis sto Kastrí, which are sometimes steep and narrow. Once at the top you have a good view of the neighboring island of Alónnisos. Only exterior shots for the film Mamma Mia were filmed here.
